if you own it for many years they will usually look at todays value. not what you paid for it.I bought 4 acres in Rohnert park in 95 ish.. was out of the city limits paid 27k for it.. well by a stroke of luck and some foresight I like to think I had or have.. it has now been brought into the city and is directly across the street from the entrance to the Graton Casino and zoned mixed use resi.. value today probably about 3 mil. so if I go to develop it I am certainly hoping lender throws the land in at 3 mil not 27k and pretty sure they will.which community are you waiting out the moratorium..

Even though I’m arrogant enough to think I’ll come out ahead, I have the foresight to protect myself at least somewhat to avoid being 100% wiped out.

My parents just offloaded an investment property in Marietta near the up and coming Cobb Energy Theatre, I wish I would've had foresight to know that I'd be getting in to this game, I would've snatched it up from them! 

The profit and salary an experienced contractor makes, evolves from an amalgam of foresight, efficiency, purchasing leverage, sub team trust, scope of work detailing, minimizing black outs, trouble shooting everything for every trade, phase, weather, material delays, cash flow.

Best to find out what they'll do but if they had the foresight to institute a rental cap, I'd imagine they'll want to enforce it.  

Keep in mind your property value can drop substantially with various changes and you have a lot of risk going in to a deal like this.Secondly, a general thing always to remember when buying condos is that you have to be good at vetting the associations and have the foresight to keep special assessments in mind, special assessments in various areas around the Florida coast are much more impactful than most other areas of the country.Good luck!

But I made the mistake (now foresight) to slam the rents down on the mortgage principal(s).

One can only hope that patience pays off and we have the foresight to identify when those opportunities occur and strike when others are getting out of the market.

Luckily we had the foresight to install blocking between the studs (multiple runs for upper and lower cabinets) horizontally to accommodate the cabinets. 

Sometimes meetings, showings, or even signings just can’t be rescheduled, but strong foresight on your part can derail many of those overlaps between personal and business related events.
