I currently live in Bee Cave, right outside of Austin, Tx.

I paid 250k for it.. association is maybe 100 a month and its a 50X60 .. we had two cirrus in it and a champ.. and all sorts of other toys one MUST have LOL.. some of our neighbors though had full on man caves with apartments etc in them. 

Dave Ramsey and others like him are delightful and great starting points, but you will hopefully slowly graduate to more nuanced literature that teaches you how to employ more complex concepts and financial vehicles.

The roof structure was caving in, the dormer was not put in right and showed signs of leaking, floors where very oft needing a complete replacement, furnace and water heater was under water and now needs to be replaced, the downstairs basement had signs of mold.The positive side of things was the lot, the lot was very large.So my question to the community is(1) Is this normal in foreclosure property?

They want to get you committed in writing to sell and pull a way to hit you with a much lower price in hopes that you cave.

Put check number on paperwork.If he won't sign it/ won't take a check don't cave....

I am living in a cave house (yes, we have electricity and Internet) in southern Spain.

I have a property that has a detached garage that was previously used as living space/man cave.

Best case scenario, they cave because they want the property gone, and give you everything you want. 

US against the state we just cave.. so I got a voluntary cease and desist rewrote on contracts the way the state wanted them.. paid my 5k fine and moved on..
