When I advertise my rentals in NOVA I post on apartments.com, zillow, craigslist, and Facebook marketplace.

Typically you do not need to give 60 day notice, more like 3 days....law says one thing, but judges may not always follow the law, so I say send it to the tenant, send another certified with return receipt, AND post it on the back the of the front door or give it to them in person.   

I sent certified mail mid september that was returned from the post office. i eventually flew drove down to the property in beginning of October to post eviction notice on garage and front door. i inspected the property that seemed half way abandoned.

Put out a post on FB, FB marketplace, and craigslist.
