I would caution on thinking Orlando is only about tourism though(the whole state is really). 

I’m not surprised at that considering the tourism here.

Not tourism numbers etc.

Lake Placid and Saranac Lake in particular have cute downtowns and year round tourism.

Bisbee's main industries are Tourism, Construction, and Border Patrol.

Ocean City does so much to drive tourism year-round and I have found that Bethany does not do this as much.

Its articles such as these that are having a impact on an economy that is 80% driven by tourism.

STR is not my area of expertise, but I can tell you since November last year I've had probably 50 leads / sales calls with STR owners in the Kissimmee area looking to transition to LTR because their STR is not performing as well as expected.A lot of investors purchased during COVID times when during a time of inflated tourism and it has since returned to normal, but supply remains high. 

This doesn't even touch on sales tax/occupancy tax/tourism tax remittance monthly.

Tourism has definitely increased due to exposure from outlets like Nat Geo because of the manatees.
