The point of using a land trust in real estate is for the beneficiary to remain unknown/anonymous for as long as possible.You can ask the trustee for verification that they are in fact authorized to sell the property held in trust (it's not always the case that they are, you should check).

They will likely be better behaved and take better care of the unit if they know.If its a MF and I'm in a different unit, I can see the benefit of being anonymous, but even then unless you are a total "hands off" LL and let a PM handle everything, then its hard to stay "hidden"

If I had my properties in a Wyoming LLC for anonymity and the property can't be traced back to me as the parent, aren't my kids inheriting this property through a business, the LLC (losing the parent-child transfer)?
