I recently devoured the book "How to Invest in Real Estate: The Ultimate Beginner's Guide" recently...which led me to discovering this community...which is leading me to thinking about my next chapter in life.

I have equally found that there is something magical about IN-PERSON MEETUPS...when I left my traditional W2 for a PropTech startup I led our grass-roots business development by going to every possible Chicago Meetup for about 2 YEARS STRAIGHT!

When I started, I wanted to leave my small business to pursue multifamily full time, and I did not have the time to fix and flip or buy a few single families scattered around.Those factors led me to start with multifamily.

He led me on and on and I wired money but was misled.

You indicated light bullying led to suicide.  

It didn't happen in a vacuum - in every instance there was "creeping" ideology in the nation that led to the take over, it didn't just happen out of nowhere.

It was pretty hard to find properties where the numbers and landlord laws made sense which is what ultimately led me to investing in Columbus, OH.
