It can be very revealing and provide an opportunity to address other problems earlier than otherwise would likely occur. 

We all naturally always think too small for what we are actually capable of, and I feel like watching someone else that is in similar “shoes” as we are grow to unimaginable heights reveals a proof of concept that much bigger things are possible for ALL OF US if we put in the work to get there as well.I feel like this really synchronizes well within the real estate space, for example, watching a 26 year old buy their first 6 family commercial property and raise a ton of capital in the process to do so, to someone else flipping multiple properties at the same time, or doing their first flip and also en route to potentially buying a motel with other investors at the same time….We are all capable of so much more than our mind allows us to think….Put yourself around the right folks and you will all grow to places you can’t even imagine right now, and the more you reflect, you might realize that it was your mind that was the dominant factor holding you back the whole time… You could have all of the pieces you need to make leaps towards your vision, but are missing the belief that you as an individual are actually capable of doing it, and that is a big one… Damn.Happy Sunday guys!

I had a similar recent experience with a wholesaler where they were trying to charge me an additional $5,000 after I gave them the asking price...which was weird...From looking at the contract they sent me,  one thing my attorney had an issue with is that they blocked out the original purchase price from the initial contract between them and the owner...my attorney said I should not move forward and sign it until they reveal that amount...when I asked them they say they never reveal that information when they assign contracts.

NA NA I highly doubt your market is so undiscovered that revealing it would make all of us flock there.In any case RE can be expected to beat a CD for sure but it depends how much risk you can take.

On the other hand, if the pre-inspection reveals issues that can be addressed, it may give you the opportunity to negotiate a lower purchase price.

Much like sports it reveals who's prepared and who has work to do.

Since no one at the branches or mid-level knew the story regarding this stipulation, calling to the top of the management chain revealed I can only choose from a list of 5-6 bank-approved contractors that I can have do the work FOR ME.
