Make sure you understand their timeline for funding—speed can be crucial for flips—and their experience with similar projects.Look for a lender with clear communication, transparency, and flexibility.

The only inspectors I recommend are ones who have a background in the trades themselves because they actually know their stuff, but some buyers have read somewhere that they shouldn’t trust their agent’s inspector recommendation and they hire somebody else who doesn’t have any real hands-on experience building anything.  

I'm sure there are plenty of paid mentors and coaches out there, but from personal experience its been the on the job 1 on 1 time with someone doing what you are trying to thats been most impactful to me.
