It's beauty and it's solid, but it needs some great cosmetic TLC.I am needing recommendations for contractors/handy people who like to rehab houses like this and respect the integrity of the architecture and the materials used in them.

In our view, there’s a lot more safety in a borrowers experience (and even more in their integrity, as Ann noted) than in LTV.

VA guidelines require that “The surface requiring treatment must be thoroughly washed, scraped, wirebrushed or otherwise cleaned to remove all cracking, scaling, peeling, chipping and loose paint and then repainted with two coats of a suitable nonleaded paint, or:The paint shall be completely removed or the surface covered with a suitable material such as gypsum wallboard, plywood or plaster before any painting is undertaken if the paint film integrity of the surface needing treatment cannot be maintained.” 

I just listened to your podcast the other day about Landlording with Integrity.  

When installed on a large floor, it creates a monolithic 'floating' surface, which gives it it's integrity.   

Just conduct yourself with integrity and you are good.

-What are your favorite questions to ask during an interview for a new employee (i.e. questions that give you great feedback regarding their character, work ethic, integrity, really test to see if they are a "go-getter," (the way, Brandon, you've tested some applicants by requesting they only fax resumes in), that their personality is a fit for you and your team, etc)? 

Mix in medical conditions that require medicines like blood thinners (My grandfather had the heat set to 80 when he was on them) and your even more screwed I think.I know on my Nest T-Stats at home, I can set a schedule based on the hour.
