I am an active duty Marine so we do have access to the VA loan.

They said they were concerned I wasn't using any water.It's vacant but actively watched over, but using very little water.

If they are not passive and are in fact active members of the general partner structure, then each lender will look at their specific criteria such as:Do you have credit, net worth, and reserves to meet their underwriting criteria?

I think just reading books, being active on the BP forums and consistently attending your local REIA will be more effective and far cheaper.
