the flipping shows don't make that kinda $. it's a scam. they just include the purchase price & the rehab and that's their "profit." no mention of R.E. commissions, closing costs, holding costs, seller concessions, etc.

I was politely informed that the Lease Options "scam" as he put it, was only for get rich entrepreneurs using a quasi legitimate loophole in Texas law according to the way he understood real estate but, as a general practitioner of law in the injury aspect, he didn't know 100%.

Being over whelmed with information and worrying about being scammed by some "guru" that promises you lies.

I would suggest that you google his name and look for obituaries to see if you are just getting scammed by someone that wants out of the lease. 

Rental scams work both ways.

One of my worst fears is being scammed out of money by someone.

By the way, tenting a house is a completed scam and I will never pay for it.

Now compared that to all the Gurus programs (Chicago Real Estate Investing Association) Chicago REIA $50K program that a straight up SCAM/Thieves you tell me?   

This community has been very inviting and encouraging and it's so great to be involved with this community and feel like I am not dealing in some kind of future upsale or sales scam.
