My neighbor law enforcement official said there are something like 8,000 "grows" in the county, but most of them are small, garage -based ops. these are getting phased out - I live in a former grow house, am currently rehabbing another, and about half the houses I evaluate were used as grows.I've had many conversations with real estate experts and others,  and there isn't a universal opinion of how legalization would impact the local economy.

If not just get a renovation plan together with your construction team and go to the Building Dept. in the town the house is in and tell the building/code official of your desire to renovate the home to a safe and livable condition and obtain the building permit applications to start the project once you close.Fannie Mae for me has allowed 7 day inspections although they have never renegotiated a price.

The statement needs to look professional and "official".

I am in tax working on a specialization in estate, trust, and gift tax and she is in audit and is just waiting for the official CPA papers to come in the mail-woot!.

Because the elected officials in the city or county created a law that bans them.
