In small towns when you put up a craigslist gigs ad for painters, carpenters etc, no one has insurance.Reading here, having contractors sign a Contractor Agreement that shields the investor from the contractor claiming they where en employee, its debatable whether an injury on your project whether this contractor agreement will be of any value.

When you do so, you may want to explore the costs of an umbrella policy to increase your Liability coverage.Also, If the new policy does not include Personal Injury (Libel, Slander, etc..) you should get a quote for that coverage.
