David Greene mentioned that when he does out of state renovations, he likes to leverage property managers to overlook the construction process.

Following the laws has been a "process" to call it nicely.

Does anyone have general advice on our approach to this process both in terms of educating ourselves and building our network?

Any pointers would be hugely considered and appreciated.  

How many times a year do you go through that process? 

Eviction and foreclosure are two common real estate processes where you always want to use a lawyer from beginning to end.

There are a huge amount of US ex pats here no need to really learn Portuguese etc etc.

I realize now this was a huge mistake to not purchase under an LLC.

I know I just ratified a transaction where I was selling a new build ( not yet built) and the broker representing the buyer had a very high buyers broker agreement that simply does not work for builders and what we have to do to manage the process.
