@Matt Fitzgerald  county surveyors office ... if they have one.. but what the city probably wants is a current survey stamped by a surveyor.I have been buying properties in SC and we get a new survey on each one before we can get title insurance... which is completely foreign to how we do things on the west coast.but then again most in city things we do is lot and block.. and not meets and bounds descriptions..

We usually find these buyers are out of state (typically California) with some nostalgic attachment to the area--either grew up here or went to school here.If you look at the alternatives these two types of buyers have--first time home buyer who qualifies for under $150K and can go FHA, and the California buyer with $100K who wants some degree of geographic familiarity--what are their other investment opportunities that will do better for them if they're not in the business?

In my research of dollar stores, dollar tree is on the outside areas / suburbs as well as dollar general (which currently partners with paylease) In my opinion, paynearme desperately need a nationwide chain pharmacy like cvs or walgreens or rite aid, (which are probably taken by western union network or moneygram network already by their competitors below) or a dollar store as a vendor, (for geographical coverage in places where cash rent payments are highly desirable) and dollar general is already taken.
