Joe GoreThat is why people promote the multi level entity stuff.Much harder to track down the "people" involved if title is held in a Trust where the beneficiary is an LP that has an LLC as the GP.Not impossible by any stretch but it is more than checking title at the registry and then going to the Sec of State to see the names on the corporate docs.

Make a checklist of required documentation for each property you plan to promote such as rent rolls, cancelled checks or bank deposits for rent paid, copy of the lease, proof taxes are current, etc.

This buddy happens to work with the tenant on a daily basis.He told me she was just offered a promotion for an out-of-state position, and the company offered to pay all relocation, travel, expenses, temporary housing, etc....So it looks like this is just a quick cash grab.
