I'm sure there are bad areas there just like everywhere else but I'm just hoping to get some perspective.

To put that in perspective, though, in coastal Carolina a few hundred more is only 10%-15%.

Thanks for the info @Ron S. and @Blair Poelman I was just wondering more from a buyers perspective, mainly on what you have pointed towards @Blair Poelman . 

I feel the city is listening to owners (and short term/vacation rental managers like me) but those who want to protect the future of neighborly, well-run, and profitable STRs in Colorado Springs do have a short window of opportunity to speak into this document before it goes to city council so it's time to get to a meeting and share your perspective. 

I dont think it is subject to review from a practicle purpose I am not sure how they would even begin to review such things as these types of loans are common and mainly undocumented from a governmental perspective.

again, just my perspective because I do it for a living, I'm required to maintain a high level of suspicion. based on what he says it sounds like there is certainly a way through this, like you said.

Now on the surface it seems like a pretty decent idea; however i have a few questions for them (which i've asked) but  I wanted to know from this groups perspectives the pros/cons that you all may have experienced in similar situations.
