The locks and door jambs on these properties appear damaged and/or broken, and the padlock is probably in place to keep out the homeless or thieves.So my question is this, if a tax DEED property has obviously been abandoned, but is secured, can you take immediate possession of said property by removing the lock, taking plywood of the windows, etc, without an ejectment action?

(The US average is 35.4)There are homeless and there is a lady who sometimes frequents downtown screaming and yelling, who has tried to break in my son's apartment became she think she owns the building, and has thrown a brick through a window of a downtown restaurant, also because she thinks she owns the building.

We dont know what they're planning to list that home, but my concern is that if they do list their home less than ours, then ours will sit longer, and/or force us to lower the price.
