IMO, it seems logical that the clause would become void if the original lender issued a freeze of the loan product they require you to use to avoid penalty.Thank you!

Maybe.HUD (estimates) service life at 20 years for an electric or gas furnace, but a February failure could mean a wait for an install or a wintertime price gouge.How long is the wait time for a repair or replacement in the below freezing times in the area?

Hi Juan, I have been seeing more new construction loans coming in because it almost guarantee the builder an equity position once the project is complete, but with this said, I have heard of local banks/credit unions in my area putting a temporary freeze on these projects due to the market environment.If you have any questions about financing a new construction project, please feel free to send me a PM.

Possible other con is that it’s not a deadbolt but I find it pretty secureTheir customer service is actually pretty good, one of my locks broke in early usage and they send me a new one for free without hesitation, it ended up being the door itself needing adjustment not necessarily the lock, I’m in Michigan with hot and humid weather and cold freezing weather and no issues at all since then with any lockOne last thing/general tip: I keep one door of my rentals with regular locks and on a regular lockbox with back up keys in it, I’ve found it amazing in a pinch when you get that dreaded “my code isn’t working” and can’t get good internet service ect to change it at the time (most of the time it’s user error), also in cold weather states in older homes the locks can adjust and get stuck

I have the lower limit set to 72 and if anyone wants to go sleep they want to turn it down to 72, but the people downstairs freeze to death at that temperature.

When/if these carriers are hammered in different areas/states by catastrophic events (Western US wildfires, TX freeze, hurricanes, wind/hailstorms, etc.), they don't just tend to penalize the clients who filed claims and received payouts, but try to spread their premium increases across many insureds.
