I graduated from the University of Kansas last February with a degree in Architectural Engineering.

I have a good idea of the estimated cost as my background is in Architectural Engineering.

But the more you can define and specify in your architectural and engineer drawings the more accurate your estimates should be.

Here is a quick summary:I currently operate a Sole Prop for my Architecture and Real Estate sales business and would like to start a REI business that I plan to keep separated from my Sole Prop.

I always hired my Architectural Firm to do some type of design based service, like redesign of a kitchen, or an addition, etc...

Is it 3 tab shingles or architectural.

Acting as the developer, I would pay for and secure the approvals and complete the architecture & engineering.  

It is so important to have an architectural/engineering firms with specific experience building ADU's. 

Predevelopment costs include site preparation, architectural designs, permits, soil tests, impact fees, property survey, utility trenching, land clearing and energy reports.

I work as an interior/architectural designer and project manager so setting up airbnbs is something i have experince with. let me know your thoughts!
