I'm about to begin my journey as a commercial real estate developer by constructing a 20,000sqft building in Georgia.What do I need to know about analyzing sites, pricing development, planning build out, getting tenants, etc. as I get into commercial real estate development?

I prefer this more than development deals because those only make money at the exit which is many years down the road.

This has taken years of work and effort to develop these connections.

Over the years I’ve developed relationships with contractors to call when there is an issue with the home.  

Also thinking of buying a single family and then flipping it to a developer to tear down and build new multi-family that seems to be going up everywhere.Any advice is appreciated!
