Plumas county CA  Under the radar . 45 minutes to Truckee  45 minutes to Reno.some very nice places there  3 high end golf communities then you have some older developments and of course just homes in the woods.. access to Lake Davisand the Sierra buttes area for hiking and swimming etc.
