Usually if you use semi-gloss, however, the trim should wipe down well and not need to be re-painted.

@Russell Brazil So the current owner inherited it and repainted the inside with a fresh coat of paint.

The roof is replaced and in general the house is in good condition and last year the seller has done inside/outside repainting.

Agree with the DIY repaint points above (if they are structurally sound inside; can't see inside).. repaint is the best route for lower/mid range rental...

If I did repaint, it was just one wall as needed.

I ended up going with simply cleaning up the cabinets and will repaint the countertop with one of those paint kits.

The outside was re-painted and all previous water damage areas were mitigated and updated to prevent further damage.

One time an appraiser made me repaint and entire house and I didn't have it done in time so I was out helping my team and the appraiser simply drove by and waived when he saw us out doing the work.
