I was contacted by Steven Klaus supposed to be a broker of Skyrocking Capital Solution and he approved loan for  multifamily purchase with 100% financing @6% and requested to send Origination Fee of 2% before the disbursement.

HouseMax agreed that I am owed the full $14k, but they informed me that the "investor" and loan servicer (FCI) are refusing to refund the amount.I'm unsure who should be held accountable or what my legal rights are in this situation.

If you had been using a good agent, first thing they'd look at is if it's actually a legal multifamily.Certainly sucks.

But we saw potential in the deal and kept this lead in our follow-up database for nearly FOUR YEARS.Fast forward to December 2023, the wife, now with a restraining order in place and court approval to sell, decided to let go of the house she could no longer afford.

This helps avoid our clients/real estate investors a lot of legal issues.

Usually by the time I’ve shown it 4-5 times I have at least 1 solid application that gets approved.

I guess my hang up is that if I’m already using loaned money as a down payment, how will the bank approve another loan on top of the HELOC.  

We could put in an offer and put a down payment on a house today, but I'm not confident I would get approved for a loan with a down payment from funds that just arrived in my account a few days ago from my in-laws.
