No one in my family has any experience in REI and quite frankly have been very discouraging in their remarks about my goals.

When in fact the crime rates are remarkably lower than they were in the 70’s - 90’s.

(Not refused to BELIEVE it but refused to accept it) The remark I am most against is a belief to not invest in high priced markets such as San Diego (San Fran, Los Angeles, San Jose, OC, NYC, etc).

I was never confrontational or unkind. 

To me his remark about “you’ll tick off a lot of neighbors” means he feels like the truth puts HIM at a disadvantage.No advice given yada yada...good luck and keep us posted as much as prudent
