If its a major city with year-round stability, then maxing leverage can be OK, but be very careful doing the same on a highly seasonal market that may have dry months

He's pretty savvy guy and had to go round and round and round with the company to get back on track.   

Our current mortgage is with round point at 3.25 so I don’t think it is worth it to refi purely for the lower interest rate.

The area is beautiful and has alot to offer in terms of many outdoor activities year round but also the proximity to towns like Phonecia and Woodstock which are minutes away is also a plus.

If you find it works out for round 1 you might get the traveler to extend their stay and reduce the turnover time.  

My family has a caretaker who lives on the property year-round and it also has a gate with an armed guard 24-7. 

The majority of duplex properties will be in Austin and Round Rock, but nearly every community will have some small-multifamily options. 

Just make sure the destination is more 'year round' so you don't have to drop the rates so low to get the occupancy numbers you're looking for.
