You can also run your STR in your personal name or elect to start a company that operates the STR i.e. branding.If you do not qualify or for some other reason do not want or cannot qualify for conventional financing, you will likely have to go to some sort of DSCR or other business purpose loan route, and they will actually require you to put it into an LLC.

The city inspector did sign off on the work, and I sort of knew it wouldn’t be perfect going into it, because he was 1/2 the price of other contractors estimates I received.

.- Urgent maintenance issues, this is the most tricky part, in my case I have 3 of these situation and the go-to contractor didn't even answer the phone, so I had to find someone else, so made many calls to get this sorted quickly.One of my investors lives in Chicago and found that the house was destroyed when the tenant left so his wife came to Dallas for 2 months to fix everything so they can put back in rent.

The jobs I have held have been kind of “babysitting” jobs where I’ve usually only had about an hour or so of real work during my shift which has allowed me to read all sorts of business and real estate books, listen to real estate podcasts, search for deals on the MLS and elsewhere all during the course of my work shift.
