However - there is a ton that goes into this analysis including the possibility of affecting a step up in basis at death, overall estate value & current estate plan (trusts, wills etc), future health care planning & laws around asset transfers etc.Given the inherent complexity to this, I'd recommend reaching out to several estate planners w/ a focus in real estate.

Just for sake of information and discussion, the tenant presented me with an Emotional Support Animal Registration of America certificate on June 13, 2020 At this moment, I already knew I can't say No to the animal in this case, but requested the statement of proof or medical necessity from a Healthcare professional since there was no visibly evident disability that I could see.
