They've rewired the electrical and installed new smoke and fire detectors.  

You need to like your niche selected and enjoy what you are doing.  

I call that mostly a smoke screen.

Cooking" meth can produce considerable contamination, yes.Consuming meth can take different forms from simple ingestion which leaves no residues  to smoking which will will leave residues. 

We as in me and my wife are newbies in the real estate  investing and love this forum we are learning a few things so we hope we can build a successful business and enjoy life and can't wait to work with my wife 

I could use any helpful advice from current investors to make this profitable and enjoyable at the same time.

I bought 3 homes (2 in Rochester, 1 in Brighton), that only needed me to change the locks and install smoke detectors (and a few more minor stuff).
