You can mow yards, shovel snow, haul junk, clean houses or any number of low skill jobs.

If vacant when you see it but not when they first bought it make certain they took proper steps on clean out etc.

Although I copy every one on property repairs. instructions etc, it is always good to have one person co-ordinate someone being around for say a furnace clean so you don't have to do it. 

Usually after every guest (turnover) there is cleaning and maintenance to be done.

Aaron, if the roof line(s) are straight then the foundation should be fine.if you turn the hot water on and the water is clean and strong then your plumbing may be OK.
