Does anyone have any recommendations on an App (software) that can help track multiple project expenses?

I went to high school, got my diploma also a did running start and got my AA.Then, I went and pursued starting my Bachelors in Software development and gaming development.I am about 1/3 of the way through it right now and have about two more years left to finish it.

I am new to the software, figured out most of it but this one has me stumped and not finding answers online.What categories do I assign to the closing costs and net proceeds?

I do not like our current software Rent Manager.

I have access to more capital, and I want to get away from my software sales career,  I'm passionate about my own business and I'm demotivated with the pressure of what I'm doing 7-5 (this is conservative, there are 65+ hour weeks that I'm being paid OT time on....)In a nutshell, I'm making more money in my 9+years of software sales. 

BUT, I would keep a spreadsheet (or accounting software if you’re so inclined) and track the set-aside for capex, vacancies, maintenance, etc.

Then you will have to go to the property and review the footage if you suspect there was a problem.The great thing about having an internet connection is you can get real time motion alerts and you can log into your camera feed and see if someone was breaking into your place and call the police to catch them instead of handing them a video after the fact and hope they can find them.Either way I use a more robust system than the plug in play wifi cameras that are sold at Sam's or Walmart.I use  Digital Watchdog software running on a laptop and DW cameras.
