Then I realized that by following through on my dreams of being a real estate investor, I was already retired at 30, I drive my corvette or harley to look at homes all summer, then relax at the pool with my wife when I want.

Well, that's the sunny south.

Those ponds and walking trails, laundry facilities, club houses, pools, and recreation areas, some with day cares, are offered by the developers to get the deals.

While I am up in the air about ROI for them, I have used them for some expensive repairs(i.e. pool pump replacement, HVAC repairs, replace water heater).

Though I have not brought any ROE bulks I do have experience in buying mortgage pools in the $100 million range.

Someone once said pools were bad investments, but I don't get why.

Some rural land has nothing and then other will have an incredible house, well, electric, pool etc and you cannot even tell by the front of the place.
