Very different answers to your question depending on the answer to this one.If for a career path, I would agree with @Michael K Gallagher and find a brokerage that is actively doing deals, has a property management division in house, and has brokers covering each of the key market segments - multi-family, retail, office, industrial and land.

Most if not all of the tax accountants on this forum offer tax planning services and stress that our value is primarily in tax planning rather than in tax preparation. 

@Michael Baum, sometimes base runs are better ;-) It's not a time vs. money approach, it's passive vs active investing.

I followed your steps and my Pro membership still remains active. 

It is in an up and coming area so my thought is that if it doesn't have the activity that we are looking for while trying to sell it, we would purchase it ourselves buying it from my dad/the Trust and then renting it out. 

Success, currently active, will update what our final sales price ends up with, fielding calls on the property already.
