One big challenge is the inspection process, which can feel like a hurdle.

I charge a premium and as such, expect things to be a bit nicer and feel okay saying no discounts for people shopping for discounted stays as there is a reason I charge more than my competitors.  

I feel like every project has its curveballs, and sometimes it’s the unexpected stuff that teaches us the most.

So I’m trying to get a feel for what’s out there.

I was feeling paralyzed making decisions about what to do, and no joke within 3 weeks of finishing this book I had decided on my next step and was under contract on my first flip property!

Specifically, I’m drawn to distressed properties, such as pre-foreclosures and foreclosures, because of their potential for strong returns and lower acquisition costs which I feel is a great combination for a new investor with my budget.That said, entering the U.S. market as a Canadian comes with its own set of challenges, and I want to make sure I’m approaching this the right way.
