I'm guessing there are subtleties that I'm hoping someone more experienced can share with me.For example, I got a part-time RE agent (which I've since learned might not be the best idea) from Zillow for a listing I'm about to make an offer on.

So the basic laws in NC only require 30 days notice for a year long lease, however most leases for apartments do state in their leases that 60 days notice is required.

I once paid for two different appraisals by two different certified appraisers and they came in $50,000 apart.

One of his investments is a 10 Unit Apartment Building.Gonna meet with him soon to “chat”.I have never purchased a Multi-Family before and don’t even know where to begin. 

Best tip: Go to "B or C" apartment complex, locate the maintenance man, he is jack of all trades, master of none but can do almost anything you need done.....he gets paid at best $15-20 an hour.  

The other unit (950 sq ft) is a detached garage converted apartment.

Since I'm a part-time flipper and work full-time, sometimes I'm can't be fully present when a project starts.

I am currently looking at acquiring an 18 unit apartment building.

Right next door to my house there are 2 properties, both 6 unit 4 bed 2 bath apartments.
