Hi @Jon Peterson and @Isaac Braun my friend Mohsen has a construction company that specializes in exterior storm restoration.

I eventually sold off a problem property that year to help offset all the expenses and restore full cash flow. 

The labor cost aren't astronomical, we average less than $300/window when restoring them. 

@Sunny Pyun I actually found a Habitat Restore in Newburgh, by accident.

I'd stick to the main issue, the removal cost of the reconstructed area and you'll need to show and have receipts for any costs or labor paid to someone that removes the stuff and to repaint ect to restore to original.

I know I can't make restoration improvements.

Are you planning to make the building energy efficient in your restoration work ... what other updates will be required by regulation / legislation?
