-22 years old-$50,000 pre tax income from business this year-80k in savings-30k in investments-pre approved for $350,000 (had to use parents as co-signers because I started business 2 years ago and didn’t make much first year)Looking to get into first house by house hacking a 4 bed 2 bath renting out 3 rooms.

You will need probably 20% of total cost (Not including financing costs. 80% LTC) as the down payment.

Our plan was to rent it for 3-7 years, and then sell it, before a roof, HVAC, plumbing, or even much flooring was in need of replacement. 

@Huong LuuIn my opinion, presuming you need the money - it is better to cash-out refi the property.

I need some tips for investing when your immediate home is a HCOL area.

Also, how much time do you want to spend doing real estate vs. your main job or extra work in order to fund it.
