Never had to wake up, call around to make bids and do logistics while on my 9-5.A persons business for needing to leave could be private and doesn't need an excuse.

My bank only has "principal payment" and "principal and interest" payment choices, when choosing to pay outside of the normal autopay I have set up. i.e. there's no "interest only" payment option.How are these expenses to be paid, logistically, outside of escrow?

Over the past few months I have been consistently researching the benefits and logistics of investing in real estate and realized that this is something I could potentially do for my senior year.

Nothing sneaky, I was just wondering the logistics of it.

(We have worked through the logistics of investing together, etc. so the focus of this post is locations).

Plus, when we looked at the logistical tail end of it, the juice did not seem worth the squeeze. 

Seems like a logistical impossibility unless you have a trusted capable family member in town.As a Philly property manager I'm certainly biased, but I can confidently say it's not a winning strategy to try to remote manage in this city

You mitigate that loss by choosing a stronger tenant class, thriving and logistically easy metro, and a community that has a lot of local offerings so tenant remain.
