For me I would make sure the outlets were GFCi

I have just sent my first "You'll be here soon" email to the first visitor, who will be arriving in two days.We are doing all of our final safety checks, such as adding carbon monoxide detectors to the existing smoke detectors, putting in the child protective outlet covers around the property. 

If we made a SOW that covered everything down to the outlet covers, then the contractor would have no room to decide if they want to leave or change anything.

We have a sears outlet near us that sells new in box models that are 1-4 years old, they just aren’t the latest greatest model.
