Any suggestions, advice, or experience you could give me.

I first came to the intro about a year ago and it has been a great experience.  

We aren't that big as we only have 5 properties/7 doors but it has been a great experience for us and we aren't looking back. 

You don't need to know everything to get started; you need a foundation to build on, and the rest will come through experience and then refining your education.You can build a basic understanding of investing in 3-6 months.

So many variables can turn a deal sideways from 1 hour to the next - i.e. inspection findings, title issues, contracts, financing issues, taxes, dept. of buildings/local municipalities, etc.I'm glad to hear you made it through the challenges, and it sounds like you'll be able to leverage this experience as you grow your portfolio.All the best to you along your journey!

However, Allstate is capping their landlord insurance at $750,000, which creates a coverage gap I need to address.I’m looking for options to add at least an additional $750,000 in coverage and am wondering if anyone has experience with Difference in Conditions (DIC) coverage or Excess and Surplus policies.
