Tax delinquent properties are often a symptom of a larger problem.We just did over 150 deals in 2015 with a tax lien fund that had no idea of what to do with properties they actually got back.  

I'm feeling similar pain and since I'm a new investor I wasn't sure if this was typical or a symptom of the area or just where we are in the market cycle. 

That's a symptom of something larger.  

What I was really attempting to do was to relieve him of some of the signs and symptoms of the "tired landlord syndrome"  I diagnosed as setting in during the years following our leaving the nest.

I never had any symptoms it was caught looking at why I had a lingering cough. 

It doesn’t sound like it.You have a relationship problem, and when it comes to relationships, the symptoms are often not too close to the causes.No one here can know enough about your relationship to diagnose the root of your wife’s unhappiness, but I doubt it’s real-estate.

You fix the problem by treating the root cause, not the symptoms.
