A Roto Rooter technician managed to clear the main line after a ton of work and resorting to a 1-inch blade (apparently, they usually use only 6- or 3-inch blades due to risk of pipe damage).

Anyone ever hear of Meganite as a countertop option?

Someone had mentioned Meganite to us as a solid surface option that was also easy to work with and install (Cuts can be made with carbide saw blades, etc) Also, the prices look really good.....I did a search here and did not find a single mention of Meganite.

If you are removing stubborn hardwood that is glued to the subfloor and nothing else is working... set the blade depth on a circular saw to the depth of the flooring and cut the flooring into 1ft squares.

Are supplies such as paint brushes, blades, and other miscellaneous tools and supplies used to fix up the place deductible in the current year, or do they get added to the basis of the property and deducted with the purchase price along with other material used in the fix up?
