Josh, I just came across your article, kudos for telling it as is...most story tellers just want to look good and hear themselves and omit very important facts.

Both times were forty-ish minutes of story telling / soft sale, followed by fifteen to thirty minutes of hard sell.

It's a nice soft earth tone that will age well and transcend the current "grey everything" fad we are in.
