When our neighborhoods are deteriorating or just plain unsightly with overgrown weeds, cracked sidewalks and chipping paint, it's deeply satisfying to buy these run down eyesores and turn them into beautiful productive homes that people can be proud to raise their family in.

Some local areas have been having success installing planter boxes on extra wide sidewalks.

It is in a risky neighborhood but the city is paying 1 billion in renovations to the area with everything from parks, bars, new sidewalks, universities, apartment complexes, farmers markets, you name it they are doing it over the next seven years.

For example last month i was charged $250 to put salt on the steps and sidewalks. 

I would just have to take out my fence but what is the process of getting the sidewalk cut?

I would need to cut the curb on the side walk to create the entrance into the parking lot as well as pour the asphalt/cement into the lot and create parking spaces.I know there are permits and levels of approvals needed to begin, I just want to get a list of companies that can do this type of work.

Then they roll up the sidewalks.

I would shovel their sidewalk for no other reason than they were my mothers age.

If you are and plan on making sure the garbage is out correctly and snow is removed from the sidewalks it may work.
