We mix it up with performing and non performing loans and we have some performing that are short term bridge loans as my confidence in reperforming paper is low based on the re default rate risk.One last thing to touch on, there was a comment that I am one of Marco’s henchman.

@Matt PowersFrom my experience, deciding between short-term rentals (STRs) and long-term rentals (LTRs) depends on the market.

I was debating if I should partner with a friend or family member who is willing to work on a property together. ill be sure to make sure things are done legally and fairly so no one get short sighted and things don't get messy.

Fast forward to the beginning of 2024- we started using Furnished finder and renting out nearly half the house on 30-90 day increments and were fully licensed as a short term rental.

I’ll be honest it’s not clear to me real estate is necessarily a better investment than say the stock market, certainly not a bad investment but not as hyped as some people make it, you need to decide how much owning your own home is worth to you & also how long you plan to be in the area, if you will be here for the foreseeable future, bite the bullet and buy, if your not sure where you will be in a few years, renting might make more sense.

My thinking is I can not as it probably works as I does in the stock market with my IRA.
