I would strongly recommend you talk to your solicitor over here regarding the best options for your AU investing as this will need to also take into account your personal situation from a tax perspective as well.  

Violent criminals, drug users, drug dealers, prostitutes, sex offenders, and many other criminals run a very high risk of offending again and I wouldn't want to expose my other tenants to that.

@Alexander HunterHi AlexanderYes you are correct, even though the AU market is softening some, it is still quite expensive to get in and can be difficult to find good deals - not impossible though.I invest in the US market from Australia, must admit, as a few have said on this thread, the diversity of the US market is great, and affordability and cashflow is excellent.
