We tried to be patient by only asking them to quiet down if it was really late and loud enough to keep us awake.

I think this will be a wake up call to many that they live more paycheck to paycheck then they realized.

I'll find myself awake at 5am watching RE YouTube videos.I've been able to put together a REI "side hustle", which I think is really cool and interesting.

That does not mean AT ALL that I'm lying awake at night because I absolutely want to match the bragger.But if there's that much better to be achieved, it would only bring me closer to my goal of financial independence quicker..

To begin with it gives you experience in dealing with professionals in the industry even if you don't end up getting a loan, but it can be a wake up call for a lot of newbies who don't realize the costs associated with flipping.

Plus, we've never had too much trouble getting paid our rent (it happens, but it's not something I lay awake worrying about - at least pre-corona) so he was essentially trying to bribe me with buttons and a ball of yarn for all I was concerned.
