This center will be a major lifestyle shopping center (along the lines of The Grove and other outdoor malls throughout LA), and is being built on land that used to house shops that were burned out in the LA Riots in the 90’s.

I have seen these with my own eyes, the fall-out projected is scary, we are talking marshal law to contain unrest, mass casualties from the heat but then the unrest and riots.

I have had to read the riot act to some tenants that were contacting me too much.

A pandemic & race riots & Presidential election & potential flare up of Covid-19 again in fall. people just got stimulus money & +$600/week in unemployment. others probably say never time the market. 

@Sherita Delgado  I have spent my entire life in Tulsa and am intimately familiar with the terrible tragedies of the Tulsa race riots. 

Landlord will not be responsible for any loss of Tenant’s property, whether by theft, fire, riots, strikes, acts of God, or otherwise.

Newer construction is nice but just a couple blocks to penn and north where the cvs was torched in the riots a few years back. 

There is plenty of filming going on nearby (Shameless, Chicago PD and Chicago Fire), and to the east there's the Riot fest. 

We only managed to live there because the housing got really cheap because of lots of things - white flight, Newark riots, lack of investment, etc.

Including a full on riot in the parking lot at one point, it's a nice area near everything, and it's strange to see blatant crime in Winston, cops are pretty on top of things, so bold crime usually isn't a standard around there.
