If they say they don't know what kind of dog it is because it is a "rescue", then ask for a picture of the dog.

Anyone here can tell you what is legal/illegal, but none of them will come to your rescue if you get in trouble.

As a former fire rescue worker I’ve been in the nicest (outside) dirtiest/cluttered (inside) homes imaginable.

They cleared the fire from the road and rescued them from the cabin.

Luckily I rescued her from that culture 20 years ago, first living in the Midwest and then Vegas.
