If the company is reputable, I don't need to vet the company.

Also when it came time to pick the finish products (tile/stone/fixtures/etc) I would request getting the manufacturer, the model #, sku#, picture if possible...everything.

I am experiencing the same issue and I have professional photos, using a reputable real estate broker, and in a very rental friendly market.

Manufactured might get tricky on financing so I'd chat with a lender.

All installation and manufacturing costs are relatively inexpensive down here.
